Taking Flight

Our ministry in El Nido is really taking off. In fact, we recently discovered that we had a mountain of used sign-out sheets. So we decided it was time to do some recycling.

Our happy winner, Juan Carlos. His prize was the cap he's wearing!

The Gift of a Smile

Sunday is visiting day at El Sembrador. Today, Daniel's mother took the bus for over an hour from her home. Then she took a taxi out of town to the school—all to bring her son a gift on visiting day.

She couldn't stay long and get home before dark. So Daniel and I spent this afternoon in El Nido testing and checking every button on his new watch. His mom may have given him a present, but his smile was a precious gift for me today.

Where are you from?

This week we asked our students in El Nido to tell us where they're from. As you can see from their responses, El Sembrador has students from all over Honduras.
